About Me

I am a mom of two boys, an almost 10-year sober woman, an addiction nurse, an abstract artist, a lover of houseplants and nature, a yoga teacher, and so much more.

Although my healing journey first began when I found sobriety, my real journey began about 2 years ago. I was attending a SheRecovers conference in Miami and kept hearing stories and wisdom that deeply resonated with me, with where I was in my life. I realized that I felt stuck, like every day was Groundhog Day. I wasn’t unhappy per se, but my life lacked joy and purpose. I knew I was playing it safe and small, my soul yearned for more. I wanted to thrive and live a big, beautiful life. I decided on that trip that I would do the work necessary to make this happen.

I stopped dating and focused on myself and my kids. I read self-improvement books, listened to podcasts, became a yoga teacher, took a course on somatic healing, invested in my friendships, and spent a lot of time in nature. I allowed it to be easy and just followed the breadcrumbs that the universe was showing me.

Eventually, my journey led me to Breathwork. From the first session I did, I was hooked. I had tears streaming down my face and felt a powerful connection to my heart. There was a deep sense of peace. “What is this magic?”, I thought. I dove into learning more about it and began practicing it as often as I could.

I felt called to share this powerful healing tool with others and started looking for a training program. My intuition led me to David Elliot's Breathwork Facilitator Training in beautiful New Mexico. I went into the training with no expectations; I just knew I was meant to be there. The eight days that I spent there were truly life-changing. I was able to release sexual abuse trauma from my body that I had been holding onto since childhood. To cry and let go of sadness, scream into a pillow and let go of anger, and come to a place of forgiveness for myself and others. I found a deep feeling of self-love and the most beautiful feeling of peace.

I came back passionate about continuing my own breathwork practice and on fire to share it with others.
